1. Sports wagering involves loss
You can lose some or all of the money you wager. Betting markets include operator margin, prices can move, limits can vary, wagers can be rejected or voided, and settlement rules differ by sportsbook. Never wager money needed for essential expenses.
2. Model limitations
Models depend on assumptions, historical data, market data, team information, availability, weather, and other inputs that may be incomplete, delayed, revised, or wrong. A model can be well designed and still fail to predict an individual event or perform poorly for an extended period.
3. A recommendation is not certainty
An SLS Recommendation means a market cleared the applicable model, price, data-quality, and sport-specific decision gates and was selected as one of that sport/date's official recommendations. It may also rank onto the entitlement-scoped SLS Best Bets board. It is not the probability of a win, a guarantee of accuracy, or permission to increase risk.
4. Market prices change
A recommendation is tied to the price and conditions available when it is generated. A wager at a materially different line or price may have a different expected value. Always verify the current market before acting.
5. Historical performance
Backtests, prior records, return figures, and historical examples are not guarantees of future performance. Backtests may be affected by assumptions, data availability, market selection, timing, and model changes. Real-world results can differ materially.
6. Illustrations and examples
Interface previews, sample matchups, sample scores, and example edges may be illustrative unless specifically identified as live data. They are provided to explain product presentation, not as current wagering recommendations.
7. Bet-tracker calculations
Tracker results depend on saved wager information, final-score data used for eligible automatic grades, and the calculation rules supported by the Service. They may not reflect cash-outs, partial wins or losses, promotional credits, taxes, exchange fees, sportsbook-specific void rules, later statistical corrections, or other operator treatment. Verify every automatic or manual grade against the applicable sportsbook. Tracker ROI, units, bankroll, and closing-line figures are personal analytical estimates, not audited financial or tax records and not evidence of future performance.
8. Independent judgment
SLS does not know your financial condition, objectives, risk tolerance, legal status, or personal circumstances. You are responsible for independently deciding whether to wager and for setting appropriate limits.
9. No sportsbook affiliation or control
Unless expressly stated, SLS is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any sportsbook, sports league, team, or governing body. SLS does not control sportsbook availability, account decisions, line movement, limits, settlement, promotions, or withdrawals.
10. Responsible use
Use SLS only as one source of information and maintain strict limits on money and time. If wagering causes distress, secrecy, debt, chasing losses, or loss of control, stop and seek help. See Responsible Gaming.
