1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small data files stored by a browser. Local storage and similar technologies can also retain limited information on a device. These technologies help websites maintain sessions, remember preferences, measure performance, and prevent abuse.
2. Technologies SLS uses
Essential and security technologies
These are necessary to create and maintain secure account sessions, process authentication, protect password-recovery actions, route requests, prevent misuse, and preserve core site functions. SLS also uses a first-party, HttpOnly device identifier as one signal for enforcing one-time introductory-trial limits. Disabling or deleting essential technologies may prevent sign-in, trial verification, or member features from working, but deleting them does not restore trial eligibility.
Preference technologies
These may remember choices such as interface settings or other non-essential preferences so the Service behaves consistently across visits.
Analytics technologies
We may use limited analytics to understand traffic, page performance, errors, and feature usage. We do not currently use cookies for third-party behavioral advertising.
3. Third-party providers
Hosting, authentication, payment, email, security, human-verification, or analytics providers may set or read technologies needed to deliver their services. For example, Cloudflare Turnstile may process browser and network signals to distinguish legitimate users from automated abuse. Provider use is governed by their own policies and our agreements with them.
4. Your controls
Most browsers allow you to block, delete, or limit cookies and local storage. Blocking essential technologies may sign you out or make account features unavailable. Where consent is legally required for non-essential technologies, we will provide an appropriate choice before using them.
5. Global Privacy Control
SLS does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will recognize Global Privacy Control and similar legally required opt-out signals where applicable.
6. Changes and contact
We may update this Notice when our technology practices change. Questions may be sent to support@slsev.com. Last updated August 1, 2026.
