1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Sports Line Signal website, member accounts, transactional emails, support communications, membership purchases, and related services. It does not govern third-party sportsbooks, websites, or services that maintain their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- account details such as account name, email address, password-creation and verification records, and profile updates;
- membership and transaction information such as selected plan, billing interval, payment status, transaction identifiers, invoices, and cancellation status;
- trial-eligibility and fraud-prevention records, including keyed hashes derived from payment-method fingerprints supplied by our payment processor, a first-party device identifier, IP address, and browser information;
- bet-tracker information you choose to enter, such as sport, event, selection, market, sportsbook name, odds, closing odds, stake, unit size, result, wager date, tags, notes, starting bankroll, monthly budget, tracker preferences, and—when you use an exact SLS handoff—the linked event and automatic-settlement history;
- sportsbook prices and custom market lines you choose to save for use across the Signal Board, Analyzer, SLS Best Bets, and bet-tracker handoff;
- support requests, feedback, survey responses, and communications with us; and
- preferences, consent records, legal acknowledgments, and marketing choices.
Information collected automatically
- device and network information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and approximate location inferred from IP;
- usage information such as pages viewed, interactions, timestamps, referring pages, session events, and error logs; and
- security information used to detect suspicious activity, protect accounts, prevent abuse, and maintain service availability.
We do not receive or store full payment-card numbers or card security codes. Those details are submitted directly to our payment processor. To prevent repeat-trial abuse, the backend converts the processor's card fingerprint and our device and network signals into keyed one-way hashes before storage; the raw identifiers are not written to the trial ledger. The tracker does not request or store sportsbook usernames, passwords, account tokens, or linked-account credentials.
3. Sources of information
We receive information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, from service providers that operate parts of the Service, and from payment, fraud-prevention, support, or identity-verification partners when applicable.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- create, verify, authenticate, and secure accounts;
- provide member content and enforce membership access;
- operate the personal bet tracker, settle eligible linked SLS entries from final-score data, preserve settlement audit history, calculate performance summaries, create user-requested exports, preserve tracker preferences, and display private wager history;
- save and synchronize the sportsbook prices and custom lines you enter, calculate personalized model-to-price comparisons, and allow you to reset those values;
- process payments, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and billing support;
- determine introductory-trial eligibility, prevent multiple-account and payment-method abuse, and enforce offer limits;
- deliver transactional emails, security notices, receipts, and service communications;
- respond to support requests and maintain customer records;
- monitor reliability, diagnose errors, prevent fraud or misuse, and protect the Service;
- measure and improve product performance, design, and member experience;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements; and
- send marketing messages where permitted and consistent with your choices.
5. How we disclose information
We may disclose information to:
- service providers that support hosting, authentication, databases, transactional email, payment processing, fraud prevention, human-verification challenges, support, analytics, and security—including providers such as Render, Supabase, Resend, Cloudflare, and our payment processor;
- professional advisers such as attorneys, accountants, auditors, insurers, and consultants subject to appropriate duties;
- legal and safety recipients when disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid process, enforce agreements, investigate abuse, or protect rights and safety; and
- transaction parties in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, acquisition, or similar business transaction.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will update this Policy and provide any legally required choices.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential technologies to keep members signed in, preserve security state, remember limited preferences, prevent abuse, and operate the Service. This includes a first-party, HttpOnly device identifier used as one signal when enforcing introductory-trial limits. Additional analytics technologies may be used to understand performance and improve the product. See the Cookie Notice for more information.
7. Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including maintaining an active account, completing transactions, providing support, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal, tax, accounting, or security obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and legal requirement.
Trial-redemption and related hashed anti-fraud records may be retained after a trial or membership ends so that a one-time introductory offer cannot be repeatedly redeemed through new accounts. We retain these records only in the limited form needed to enforce the offer and address fraud, disputes, security incidents, and legal obligations.
Bet-tracker records and saved sportsbook-price preferences ordinarily remain associated with your account until you delete or reset them, close the account, or request deletion, subject to backup cycles and legal, fraud-prevention, dispute, and security exceptions. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These may include encryption in transit, access controls, account verification, restricted administrative permissions, logging, and security monitoring. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of personal information; to opt out of certain processing; to appeal a denied request; or to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
You can edit or delete individual tracker entries, reset saved sportsbook prices by selection, game, slate, or league within the Service, and, when available to your account, export tracker history to CSV. Submit account-level privacy requests to support@slsev.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, subject to verification of authority.
You can unsubscribe from marketing email through the link in the message. Essential account, security, billing, and legal communications may continue while your account or membership remains active.
10. Global Privacy Control and do-not-track signals
Because SLS does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no sale or targeted-advertising activity to opt out of. We will honor browser-based opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control, where legally required and technically applicable. Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not governed by a uniform industry standard.
11. Age restriction
The Service is intended only for adults age 21 or older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe an underage person created an account, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
12. International users
SLS is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as the Service, providers, laws, or data practices change. Material changes will be communicated through the Service, by email, or by another reasonable method. The effective date will be updated above.
14. Contact
Privacy questions and requests may be sent to support@slsev.com. Last updated August 1, 2026.
